Abstract
The remaining members of the Liaison Committee on Continuing Medical Education have decided to continue accrediting continuing medical education programs despite the withdrawal of the AMA from the group. The LCCME will be staffed by the Council of Medical Specialty Societies and will focus its accrediting program on the national level.
