The distribution of trephan blue in different organs and tissues and in the lymph was studied in acute experiments on 84 dogs after the infusion of 5% NaCl solution (0.5 mg/kg). The rise of the stain concentration in the intact dogs was the greatest in the liver, the kidney and the intestine. The osmotic shift caused by the intravenous infusion of the hypertonic NaCl solution increased the blood plasma hyaluronidase activity, reduced the maximal accumulation time of the stain in the tissues and led to a 1.5-2 fold elevation in the stain concentration in the organs.
