Abstract

Investigation of 100 consecutive patients admitted for nasal polypectomy revealed only 3 patients with aspirin idiosyncrasy and asthma. It is important that this combination be recognized but fortunately this can be done by the history. Incidental findings were that nasal polypi are much commoner in men and that the incidence of atopy was the same as that in the general population.

对100例因鼻息肉切除术入院的连续患者进行调查发现，只有3例患者存在阿司匹林特异反应和哮喘。认识到这种组合很重要，但幸运的是，这可以通过病史来判断。偶然发现的是，鼻息肉在男性中更为常见，且特应性疾病的发生率与普通人群相同。
