Nowadays it is of great importance to develop effective prevention strategies to combat further spread of the AIDS epidemic via sexual transmission of the human immunodeficiency virus. These measures include public information on the disease, widespread condom promotion and prevention of HIV infection by locally applied chemicals. The latter are antiviral and virucidal agents. Most of the compounds classified as virucidal are surfactants in fact. This report considers properties, status and potential role of detergents including a new Ukrainian antiseptic myramistin for prevention of HIV infections.
如今，制定有效的预防策略以抗击艾滋病通过人类免疫缺陷病毒的性传播进一步蔓延至关重要。这些措施包括关于该疾病的公共信息、广泛推广使用避孕套以及通过局部应用化学物质预防艾滋病毒感染。后者是抗病毒和杀病毒剂。事实上，大多数被归类为杀病毒剂的化合物都是表面活性剂。本报告探讨了洗涤剂的特性、现状及潜在作用，其中包括一种新的乌克兰防腐剂米拉米司汀在预防艾滋病毒感染方面的作用。
