To describe a patient with sudden onset of subconjunctival haemorrhage related to malaria.
A case report.
The patient, who had a history of malaria, had bilateral subconjunctival haemorrhages. General examination showed no abnormality except malaria. All signs of conjunctival haemorrhages resolved later.
Ocular malaria should be considered in the differential diagnosis of subconjunctival haemorrhages.
