Insecticides caused 68.6% of the total number of intoxications by pesticides. In rural regions 79.3% of the sick people were submitted to intoxication and 20.7% in the urban regions. The morbidity of men was almost three times higher than morbidity of women (respectively 0.54 and 0.20).
