A 9 1/2 month old female Basenji is presented with problems of house soiling and anxiety. The case is assessed by means of a questionnaire and observation. It is diagnosed as a deprivation syndrome, caused by insufficient conditions during puppyhood. A combination therapy consisting of propranolol medication and relaxation exercises is only partially successful. The influence of factors from the dogs living environment is discussed.
一只9个半月大的雌性巴仙吉犬出现了在家中随地大小便和焦虑的问题。通过问卷调查和观察对该病例进行评估。诊断为剥夺综合征，由幼犬期条件不足引起。由普萘洛尔药物治疗和放松练习组成的联合疗法仅取得了部分成功。讨论了犬生活环境因素的影响。
