Heliocobactor pylori is the most common chronic infection in the world, affecting one-third of all Americans. It causes ulcer disease and is considered to be a class I carcinogen. It can be cured with antibiotics. The majority of ulcer patients are neither treated nor tested for this dangerous pathogen. What can be done to help these patients?
