We report a patient who developed discontinuation symptoms following nefazodone cessation.
The patient experienced nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, ataxia, insomnia, marked agitation, headache and flu-like symptoms.
She was reluctant to recommence nefazodone and was symptomatically treated with oxazepam.
The patient recovered completely in 10 days.
Nefazodone discontinuation can result in withdrawal symptoms and therefore needs to be tapered gradually. Those who have experienced discontinuation symptoms with other antidepressants in the past may be at increased risk.
我们报告一例在停用奈法唑酮后出现停药症状的患者。
患者出现恶心、呕吐、腹泻、共济失调、失眠、明显的烦躁不安、头痛及流感样症状。
她不愿重新开始服用奈法唑酮，对症使用奥沙西泮进行治疗。
患者在10天内完全康复。
停用奈法唑酮可导致戒断症状，因此需要逐渐减量。过去曾在使用其他抗抑郁药时出现停药症状的患者可能风险更高。
