Primary sclerosing cholangitis is a cholestatic disease of unknown origin. Occasionally, this disease is combined with different of probable autoimmune genesis, particularly with ulcerative colitis (> 50%). The reported case describes the rare subsequent development of primary sclerosing cholangitis, ulcerative colitis and insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM) in a 22-year-old male patient. The coincidence of primary sclerosing cholangitis and IDDM supports the assumption of common factors in the etiopathogenesis of both diseases.
原发性硬化性胆管炎是一种病因不明的胆汁淤积性疾病。偶尔，这种疾病会与不同的可能具有自身免疫起源的疾病合并，尤其是溃疡性结肠炎（>50%）。报告的病例描述了一名22岁男性患者罕见地先后出现原发性硬化性胆管炎、溃疡性结肠炎和胰岛素依赖型糖尿病（IDDM）。原发性硬化性胆管炎和IDDM的同时出现支持了两种疾病在病因发病机制中存在共同因素的假设。
