Abstract
An adenoid cystic carcinoma, arising in the pterygopalatine fossa and presenting with a visual deficit as the initial symptom in a 44-year-old woman, is reported. Magnetic resonance imaging was valuable in diagnosing the primary site and extension of the tumor.
