[The prevalence of astheno-depressive states in the population living in ecologically unhealthy industrial and agricultural regions].

Complex medical, statistic, hygienic and pathophysiologic study proved occurrence of psychic disorders including asthenic and depression states to be possibly determined by ecologic factors. Pathogenesis of asthenic and depression states involves "revision" of relationships in "hypothalamus-hypophysis complex-epiphysis" system due to changes in secretion by specific neurons.
