Aean concentrations of some serum biochemical variables for healthy male and female adults are provided for six Papua New Guinean communities of varying diet and location. These average values, with normal regional, sex and age variations, are presented as a reference for those using serum biochemical indices in clinical diagnosis in Papua New Guinea.
