Regular changes in vestibular responsitivity as a function of age are demonstrated with the maximum speed of the slow phase of caloric nystagmus. The clinical implication of this is that, when doing caloric tests, one should not switch for no reason from a once accepted temperature sequence, otherwise comparison with other tests becomes impossible. It rotation tests the best reactions are found in young people. The amplitude is a good parameter to detect age-factors in rotatory nystagmus.
通过冷热试验性眼球震颤慢相的最大速度可证明前庭反应性随年龄呈规律性变化。这在临床上的意义在于,进行冷热试验时,不应无故改变曾经采用的温度顺序,否则将无法与其他测试结果进行比较。在旋转试验中,年轻人的反应最佳。在旋转性眼球震颤中,振幅是检测年龄因素的一个良好参数。
