Abstract

Based on spiral computer tomography data three dimensional reconstruction of temporal bone have been made. Anatomical details of the middle ear on obtained images as above have been shown. Reviewed own material and literature the technical assumption and potential possibilities of the three dimensional middle ear reconstruction were presented. Emphasised that three dimensional CT is a valuable source of supplementary information on ossicular chain continuity.
