[Mucocele of the vermiform appendix].

Mucocele of the appendix is uncommon, and preoperative diagnosis is rare. This case report presents the clinical, ultrasound and computed tomographic imaging findings mimicking those of an ovarian cyst. Appendectomy resulted in no complications.
