Ask the doctor. I am 68 years old and had a heart attack last year. I think I am doing fine and passed my last exercise test with flying colors. But about a month ago I had a fainting spell, which occurred when I went to the bathroom after a big meal. In addition, I frequently feel lightheaded for a few seconds when I stand up. I think that problem has been there for years. Do you think these spells are related to my heart?
