The article covers a method evaluating the relative morbidity or mortality risk for those who liquidated Chernobyl accident consequences. The method is based on number of years lost due to untimely death and on number of years spent in disability due to new diseases or traumas. The highest mortality risk was revealed in the group who received at least 10.0 cGy, in workers with traumas and poisonings, in office workers with cardiovascular diseases.
