Abstract

Twitching and tetanus were registered during stimulation in the cat desympathised m. semitendinosus, similar to those occurring in the motor units during thermoregulatory tone. The contractile responses were greater in the early desynpathisation phase. By the 14th day, the contractile responses became similar to those of the control.
