Comparison of results of isolating lymphocytes with Ficoll plus Ronpacon and with gelatin.

White blood cells were isolated from peripheral venous blood with gelatin and with a combination of Ronpacon and Ficoll. Gelatin gave greater concentration of white blood cells, whereas Ronpacon plus Ficoll yielded less concentrated preparations but with significantly higher percentage of lymphocytes, as well as a larger proportion of viable cells in comparison with gelatin.
