[A brief history of development of intelligence-sharpening acu-moxatherapy in ancient China].

Through monographical investigation on various ancient literatures on intelligence-sharpening acu-moxatherapy, considering the scholastic background and combining with the historical quantitative analysis, this composition has tracked down it origin and explored its development history. It is found that intelligence-sharpening acu-moxatherapy laid its foundation in the Qin-Han periods and developed in the Jin-Tang period, fluorished in the Song-Yuan period and widely applied in the Ming-Qing period. This paper clarifies the developing process of intelligence-sharpening Acu-moxatherapy in China.
