The scientific accomplishments of Girolamo Fabrici d'Acquapendente are critically considered. Special attention is devoted to his position in relationship with the views of contemporary Paduan scientists such as Galileo, Santorio, Sarpi. Fabrici appears to represent the highest point of the XVI century morphological research, being in the same time innovative for his new observations and conservative for his substantially Aristotelian way of thinking.
吉罗拉莫·法布里奇·达·阿夸彭登特的科学成就受到了批判性的审视。特别关注了他与同时代帕多瓦科学家如伽利略、桑托里奥、萨尔皮的观点之间的关系。法布里奇似乎代表了16世纪形态学研究的最高点，他在新观察方面具有创新性，同时在思维方式上基本遵循亚里士多德的传统，较为保守。
