The incidence of multiple abdominal punctures, blood-stained aspirates, and fetomaternal transfusion was compared in patients undergoin amniocentesis at various stages of pregnancy with and without prior placental localization by ultrasound. A lower incidence of complications was found in those on whom ultrasound examination had been performed.
对在妊娠不同阶段进行羊膜穿刺术的患者，比较了多次腹部穿刺、血性吸出物和母胎输血的发生率，这些患者有的进行了超声胎盘定位，有的未进行。结果发现，接受过超声检查的患者并发症发生率较低。
