Recently, to repair an inguinal hernia the tension-free Lichtenstein operation is preferred. The main reason, why Bassini operation is less preferred is its high recurrence rate, caused by tissue tension. We examined the recurrence rate of Bassini repair 5 years after operation. We found 9.6% recurrence rate. Besides of the tissue tension the surgeon's experience is another important factor.
最近，对于腹股沟疝修补术，无张力Lichtenstein手术更受青睐。Bassini手术不太受青睐的主要原因是其因组织张力导致的高复发率。我们检查了Bassini修补术后5年的复发率。我们发现复发率为9.6%。除了组织张力外，外科医生的经验是另一个重要因素。
