Based on literature reports and own experiences effects and side-effects of four different corticosteroids were compared, i.e. hydrocortisone, prednisone, prednisolone, triamcinolone, and dexamethasone. By additional graphs the following effects of the four corticosteroids were explained: inhibition of the hypophysis, ulcerogenic effect, influence on body weight, occurrence of edema, sodium retention as well as catabolic, calcipriving, diabetogenic, and psychotropic effects.
基于文献报道和自身经验，对四种不同的皮质类固醇，即氢化可的松、泼尼松、泼尼松龙、曲安奈德和地塞米松的作用及副作用进行了比较。通过附加图表解释了这四种皮质类固醇的以下作用：对垂体的抑制作用、致溃疡作用、对体重的影响、水肿的发生、钠潴留以及分解代谢、促钙排泄、致糖尿病和精神作用。
