Alteration of Lymph node volume are measured in different groups of patients. Irradiated Lymph nodes diminish volume significantly more and faster than non-irradiated ones. Lymph nodes with reactive hyperplasia with/without irradiation show a significantly smaller volume decrease than normal Lymph nodes. Malignant systemic diseases have a significant higher volume decrease than normal or reactive hyperplastic Lymph nodes with identical irradiation-dose.
对不同组患者的淋巴结体积变化进行了测量。接受照射的淋巴结体积减小明显比未接受照射的淋巴结更多、更快。有/无照射的反应性增生淋巴结体积减小明显小于正常淋巴结。在相同照射剂量下，恶性全身性疾病导致的淋巴结体积减小明显高于正常或反应性增生的淋巴结。
