[Teaching of histopathology on the Internet].

The authors report their experience with the German language histopathology teaching web site www.pathologie-online.de, and discuss its design, web server statistics and future developments. The current status of German language internet resources designed for teaching of pathology at medical schools is reviewed and compared to corresponding English language resources with public access.
