The First International Workshop on Semantics, Pragmatics and Rhetorics (SPR-01) was held in Donostia-San Sebastian, Spain, on 22-24 November 2001. The conference was organized by the Institute for Logic, Cognition, Language and Information (ILCLI), and the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).
