[Simple method of residual urine determination without bladder catheterization (author's transl)].

A simple photometric method for determining residual urine by means of a nomogram is described. Suprapubic puncture is employed (if necessary on an out-patient basis), and bladder urine can also be obtained for testing sensitivity to antibiotics. The results obtained correlated well with those achieved by bladder catheterization.
