Skull radiographs of 54 patients with Turner's syndrome have been studied. The following characteristic findings were frequently noted: mastoid processes of definitely decreased dimensions, small facial bones which were proportional to the stunted growth of the patients, enlargement and increased thickness of the mandible, extensive calcification of the petro-clinoid ligaments, excessive pneumatisation of the paranasal sinuses and increased angle of the base of the skull.
