[The relation of membrane proteins to primary oxidation of higher ri-alkanes by Pseudomonas denitrificans].

Protein composition of enriched with cell walls membrane preparations from two Ps. denitrificans mutants is comparatively studied. Mutants have a genetic blocking of first steps of higher n-alkanes oxidation. Differences in three protein components are found using disc electrophoresis in a system containing sodium dodecylsulphate. This is supposed to be an evidence of possible relation of changed mutant proteins to enzymatic alkanes oxidation.
