A factor analytic study of the Quay-Peterson (1967) Behavior Problem Checklist among American Indians indicated cross-cultural factor similarity for conduct problems. Personality problems and inadequacy-immaturity did not replicate across cultures. Results are discussed in the context of Sioux culture.
