[Neuromorphologic features of aging in nerve trunks].

Age-specific changes found in the structures of the peripheral nervous system in the form of periaxonal and secondary degenerative processes have a tendency towards a progressive development. These changes eventually lead to changes in the intratruncal individuality of the peripheral nerves.
