Concentrations of amino acids in the vitreous body of a control group were determined.
Patients who neither had undergone prior vitreous or intraocular surgery nor had a history of intraocular ischemia such as retinal vascular occlusion, diabetic retinopathy glaucoma history were studied. Undiluted vitreous samples were obtained from 64 patients with retinal detachment, preretinal macular membranes and macular holes, who underwent pars plana vitrectomy. Free amino acids were determined using high-performance liquid chromatography. Patients were divided into three groups: A (<50 years old), B (50-65 years old) and C (>65 years old).
Glutamine+histidine had the higher concentration with 851.1 D.E. 74.2 mcmol/L, and the vitreous concentration of glutamate was 3.8 D.E. 5.1 mcmol/L and aspartate 3.7 D.E. 4.1 mcmol/L. No statistically significant differences were found in the vitreous concentrations of amino acids between different age groups and no statistically significant differences were found between the 3 pathological groups analysed (retinal detachment, macular hole and epiretinal membrane).
These results show that the concentration of acid amino acids in the vitreous body of a control group was not high and that in mature eyes the concentration of amino acids was maintained at a fairly constant level.
测定对照组玻璃体中氨基酸的浓度。
研究对象为既未接受过玻璃体或眼内手术,也无视网膜血管阻塞、糖尿病性视网膜病变、青光眼等眼内缺血病史的患者。从64例接受玻璃体切除术的视网膜脱离、视网膜前黄斑膜和黄斑裂孔患者中获取未稀释的玻璃体样本。使用高效液相色谱法测定游离氨基酸。患者分为三组:A组(年龄<50岁)、B组(年龄50 - 65岁)和C组(年龄>65岁)。
谷氨酰胺 + 组氨酸浓度最高,为851.1 ± 74.2 μmol/L,谷氨酸玻璃体浓度为3.8 ± 5.1 μmol/L,天冬氨酸为3.7 ± 4.1 μmol/L。不同年龄组玻璃体中氨基酸浓度无统计学显著差异,所分析的3个病理组(视网膜脱离、黄斑裂孔和视网膜前膜)之间也无统计学显著差异。
这些结果表明,对照组玻璃体中酸性氨基酸浓度不高,且在成熟眼中氨基酸浓度维持在相当恒定的水平。
