Imipromine-like antidepressants (10(-7)--10(-5) M) significantly inhibited the uptake of serotonin by the human blood platelets. Among the neuroleptics haloperidol alone depressed the uptake of serotonin in the concentration of 10(-5) M. Amphetamine and cholinolytics failed to affect the uptake of serotonin even in a concentration of 10(-4) M. The data obtained supported the hypothesis on mediation of the thymoanaleptic action through the intensification of the central serotoninergic processes. Serotonin uptake by the human blood platelets can be used for screening the antidepressants.
丙咪嗪类抗抑郁药(10⁻⁷ - 10⁻⁵ M)显著抑制人血小板对血清素的摄取。在抗精神病药物中,仅氟哌啶醇在浓度为10⁻⁵ M时会降低血清素的摄取。苯丙胺和胆碱能阻滞剂即使在浓度为10⁻⁴ M时也未能影响血清素的摄取。所获得的数据支持了通过增强中枢血清素能过程来介导抗抑郁作用的假说。人血小板对血清素的摄取可用于筛选抗抑郁药。
