To study the acidic heteropolysac charides of Cynomorium songaricum.
The polysaccharides were purified by Sephadex G-100 and G-150 gel column chromatography. Purity and molecular weight of the polysaccharides were determined by high performance gel permeation chromatography; neutral sugars composition were identified by PC, TLC and GC. Uronic acids were determined by carbazole method.
The molecular weight of SYP-A and SYP-B were estimated to be 3.1 x 10(5) and 2.8 x 10(5) respectively, and neutral sugars were composed of galactose, glucose, arabinose, rhamnose, mannose and ribose. The molar ratio for SYP-A and SYP-B were 5.1:4.1:1.6:1.0:0.5:0.3 and 5.2:4.2:1.5:1.0:0.5:0.2 respectively, The contents of uronic acids were 10.7% and 10.5% respectively.
SYP-A and SYP-B are homogeneous acidic heteropolysaccharides.

采用Sephadex G - 100和G - 150凝胶柱色谱法对多糖进行纯化。通过高效凝胶渗透色谱法测定多糖的纯度和分子量;采用纸色谱法(PC)、薄层色谱法(TLC)和气相色谱法(GC)鉴定中性糖组成。用咔唑法测定糖醛酸。
SYP - A和SYP - B的分子量分别估计为3.1×10⁵和2.8×10⁵,中性糖由半乳糖、葡萄糖、阿拉伯糖、鼠李糖、甘露糖和核糖组成。SYP - A和SYP - B的摩尔比分别为5.1:4.1:1.6:1.0:0.5:0.3和5.2:4.2:1.5:1.0:0.5:0.2,糖醛酸含量分别为10.7%和10.5%。
SYP - A和SYP - B是均一的酸性杂多糖。
