[A-like effect of a proteinpolysaccharide containing extract from bovine cartilage].

In regard to the undecided immunological role of protein polysaccharides (of the glycosaminoglycan type) for pathogenesis of connective tissue diseases a protein polysaccharide-containing extract from bovine nasal cartilage was tested by the absorption method, precipitation and immunization. An A-like effect of the extract was found.
