The physiological and pathological regulatory mechanism of the endodontal blood circulation are demonstrated by means of vital microscopy with special respect to the specific vasoactivity of the DMSO. The authors' evaluation of the results includes discussion of the potentially utilizable effects of DMSO, but also the negative sequelae of the carrier effect.
