On the basis of studies performed in a psychoneurological dispensary the author examined 60 patients who worked in noxious conditions of chronic micromercuralism from 1--10 years. A thorough clinical observation permitted to distinguish the following psychopathological syndromes: asthenical (the most frequent initial expression of the disorder), depression, psychopath-like and epileptiform.
