The effects of ozone in low concentrations on animals and human beings were studied. The animal observations included biochemical tests, cellular analysis of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) and blood, lung morphological observations by TEM and SEM. The human observations included pulmonary function test, behavior function test, etc. Through three years of study certain sensitivity indices and different threshold concentrations of ozone action have been found, and an environmental health criterion for ozone has been proposed, namely, the average concentration in one hour should not exceed 0.1 mg/m3.
研究了低浓度臭氧对动物和人类的影响。对动物的观察包括生化测试、支气管肺泡灌洗液(BALF)和血液的细胞分析、通过透射电子显微镜(TEM)和扫描电子显微镜(SEM)进行的肺部形态学观察。对人类的观察包括肺功能测试、行为功能测试等。经过三年的研究,发现了某些敏感性指标和臭氧作用的不同阈值浓度,并提出了臭氧的环境卫生标准,即1小时平均浓度不应超过0.1毫克/立方米。
