The granular cell tumour, a rare benign tumour of the breast, is described. Its appearance is highly suspicious for malignancy on clinical, mammographic and ultrasonographic investigations. Only histological examination of the tumour, which mimics a scirrhous carcinoma, leads to the definite diagnosis.
