An illustrative case is reported to demonstrate the possibilities of MR-angiography in carotid -cavernous fistula (CCF). This new non-invasive technique may be useful in the diagnosis and follow-up. If an embolisation is anticipated conventional angiography is still necessary because of the higher spatial and temporal resolution.
