Forty years ago Czech scientists, J. Vanĕk and O. Jírovec, diagnosed Pneumocystis carinii as the agent of interstitial plasmocytic pneumonia in weak infants. At present it is the most frequent pulmonary pathogenic organism in patients suffering from AIDS. In the submitted paper the author summarizes experience and recent findings on the aetiopathogenesis, pathology, clinical picture, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of pneumocystis pneumonia.
四十年前，捷克科学家J. 瓦内克和O. 伊罗韦茨将卡氏肺孢子虫诊断为体弱婴儿间质性浆细胞肺炎的病原体。目前，它是艾滋病患者中最常见的肺部致病生物体。在提交的论文中，作者总结了关于肺孢子虫肺炎的病因发病机制、病理学、临床表现、诊断、治疗和预防方面的经验及最新研究结果。
