[Multidimensional pharmacopsychiatry in gerontopsychiatry: studies on the therapy with tricyclic antidepressant drugs (author's transl)].

A Concept for the multidimensional assessment and correlation of serum level and outcome of therapy with psychomopharmaca with chemical, psychological, psychophysiological, electroencephalographical and clinical methods is shown. It is possible by this method to correlate clinical outcome to serum level and effect of the drug and to objectivate the efficacy of the pharmacon. Applications in Gerontopsychiatry are discussed.
