[The duties of Sisters of Mercy in light of documents].

There are numerous documents in the Archives kept by the Convent of the Sisters of Mercy that refer to the taking care of the sick and hospitalization. The article depicts the regulations applicable in the hospital of Angers dating back to the 17th century (reprinted from the French work about St. Vincent a Paulo) and the Polish regulations from the period between the World War I and II kept in the Polish archives.
