One nurse's desire to learn how to teach became a transformational journey from clinician to nurse educator. This article describes the author's transformative experiences with critical reflection and mentored teaching experiences. Insights gleaned from her journey and the educational literature supply recommendations for current nurse educators and implications for potential students.
