INTRODUCTION
Bone marrow is divided into red marrow mainly constituted of hemopoietic cells and fatty yellow marrow. In some situations, yellow marrow may be converted into red marrow and this process is called marrow reconversion. Magnetic resonance imaging may be misleading with an invading bone marrow neoplastic process.
EXEGESIS
We report a patient with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma with vertebral invasion. Clinical features at presentation were misleading with lower limbs migratory pain suggestive of inflammatory myositis. An MRI study of thigh muscles revealed femoral nodular lesions suggestive of bone marrow reconversion.
CONCLUSION
Bone marrow reconversion is a physiologic and reversible process. Awareness of its radiographic features may help to avoid a diagnostic biopsy procedure.

骨髓分为主要由造血细胞构成的红骨髓和脂肪性黄骨髓。在某些情况下，黄骨髓可转化为红骨髓，这一过程称为骨髓再转化。磁共振成像对于侵袭性骨髓肿瘤性病变可能会产生误导。
释义
我们报告一例非霍奇金淋巴瘤侵犯脊柱的患者。就诊时的临床特征具有误导性，下肢游走性疼痛提示炎症性肌炎。大腿肌肉的MRI检查显示股骨结节性病变，提示骨髓再转化。
结论
骨髓再转化是一个生理性的、可逆的过程。了解其影像学特征可能有助于避免诊断性活检程序。
