Abstract
Information on the character and scope of destructions and damage in the systems of the life provision of the population as the result of the high flood in the Karachai-Chercassian Republic is presented. The materials on the organization and realization of sanitary, hygienic and prophylactic measures, taken on the territory of the affected regions during the period of the liquidation of the emergency situation caused by of the high flood, have been summarized.
