A variation of scimitar syndrome.

Variations of the scimitar syndrome have been reported previously, the most common being the absence of systemic arterial supply to the right lung and varying degrees of lung hypoplasia. Anomalous scimitar-like veins draining the entire right lung and connecting normally to the left atrium have been reported. The case presented is unique in that there is marked hypoplasia of the right bronchial tree and a large bronchogenic pulmonary cyst without dextroposition of the heart and anomalous systemic arterial supply to the right lung.
