Adolescents often make career decisions without ever having life experiences related to their choices. This paper describes an interdepartmental cooperative effort that led to the creation of a unique program for area teens. Based on a camp theme, the program serves as a health care recruitment tool while providing participants with on-site experiences, scheduled time with professional role models, and practical information related to a variety of health-related careers.
